The summer months are always good to us magazine consumers when it comes to being generous with beauty freebies.  There are a plethora of bargains to be had at the newsagents at the moment, and I found myself picking up these two the other day.

Going through my post pile, I noticed this month's Beauteco box at the bottom, so I eagerly pulled it out and opened it up.  This, 'see what's inside before you buy', beauty subscription box seems to be proving fairly popular, so let's take a closer look at their offerings for June shall we?

German Beauty Haul & A Giveaway!

Hello, hello, I'm back!  Well I've had an interesting two weeks.  To cut a long story short, my fortnight in Germany lasted just four days due to the awful flooding in Southern Germany/ Bavaria and its surrounding countries.  My heart literally sank when I saw the weather reports on the news, and the afternoon before we were due to travel down to Munich, we received a phone call from our tour operator advising us to cancel our booking.  Argh!  However, none of our family in the Bavaria region were harmed in the floods or had to be evacuated, so I'm very grateful for that.  Anyway, I made the most of my short stay and even managed to pick up a few beauty things, so all's well that ends well right?!

Here I come Bavaria!

I'm heading off to Germany to spend two weeks with my mum.  We're going to be heading down south into beautiful Bavaria to catch up with family in Munich, which I'm really looking forward to.  See you all soon, and as always I'm sure I'll be back with a cheeky giveaway (or two!).

Review & Swatches: Benecos Natual Mascara Maximum Volume in Deep Black & Natural Concealer in Beige

As I'm getting ready to go to Germany in about 16 hours (holiday here I come!), I thought it would be rather appropriate for my last post to be a review of some Benecos make-up I was kindly sent earlier in the month.  Benecos are a German natural beauty brand who have recently launched their extensive range in the UK, and I think they will appeal to both natural beauty lovers and budget beauty fans alike.
